Sunday, February 8, 2026 — Today, the Dubai branch of the Tehran Pars Music Institute ( Iranian music school in Dubai ) was filled with a unique energy as students and seasoned musicians gathered for an intensive and inspiring educational session.
From the delicate strings of the Santoor to the resonant chords of the Piano and Guitar, the session brought together a diverse range of Iranian and international instruments, alongside our talented vocal group.
The Core Focus: Mastering the Language of Rhythm
Every great performance begins with a solid foundation. The primary focus of today's workshop was Rhythm Reading.
Rhythm is the heartbeat of music, and today we approached it with a blend of theory and collective practice. The session followed a structured path to ensure every participant, regardless of their instrument, developed a "shared pulse":
Comprehensive Instruction: We began with an in-depth breakdown of various rhythmic patterns.
Group Practice: Students practiced these patterns together, fostering a sense of timing and synchronization that only group settings can provide.
Individual Coaching: Our instructors worked one-on-one with each student to refine their technique and address specific challenges.

"Music is more than just playing notes; it is about the silence and the timing between them. Today's focus on rhythm helps our students breathe life into their instruments."
From Theory to Performance at Tehran Pars ( Iranian music school in Dubai )
After the rhythmic exercises, the session transitioned into practical application. The sheet music for our upcoming performance piece was distributed, marking an exciting milestone for the group.
The process was methodical:
Collective Rhythm Reading: Before touching the instruments, everyone read the rhythm of the piece together to ensure the structure was understood.
Melodic Practice: Once the "skeleton" of the rhythm was solid, students began practicing the main notes, bringing the melody to life.
